Saltare Solutions
Saltare Solutions is a niche advisory firm that helps business owners locate and capitalize on one of their most valuable assets - their intangibles. Athan Demakos and Laura Yunger are the founders of Saltare and came to me after a failed first attempt at working with another developer to try and create the look, feel and clarity they were seeking.
They were defeated by the process with a less-than-responsive web designer and were uninspired by their current website and brand. They were also highly aware of the biggest challenge to their brand - the actual what of their business. Defining "intangible assets”, let alone getting the right audience to care about intangible assets is no simple task. In order to build their new brand, we needed to begin by going back to the drawing board to truly understand what they offered, who they sought to serve, why they were in the business in the first place, and how to position themselves as leaders in this market.
In order to realign before building anything new, we began with a brand strategy workshop where we nailed down their business’ why and guiding vision, crafted their value proposition, clarified their ideal clients, and setting the stage to set them apart from their competitors.
This information served as my foundation as I then redesigned their entire brand aesthetic, built a new Squarespace website, set up conversion funnels throughout, and clarified their content strategy so they could shine through as clearly as possible to their high-caliber business clients.

What were your biggest pain points before signing on with ShineThru?
Athan: Our firm specializes in providing intangible asset consulting and valuation services to small and mid-sized companies. This is an area that most of the business world understands in theory, but not in practice. Therefore, we had several challenges in creating our website and marketing presence.
First, we needed a website that would educate readers about intangible assets, their importance to business performance, and subsequently how our services deliver value.
Second, our website needed to communicate our firm’s key capabilities and value proposition to not only business owners but also to other business consultants who can refer us to their clients. Finally, we needed a “look and feel” that would help create the right brand for our firm.

Athan: Paige solved every one of our pain points discussed above. There were several things that impressed us about her work.
First, she quickly grasped what our firm does and how we add value to businesses. This was no small task! So, in terms of content, she was able to understand our value proposition and communicate that in our key messages. Furthermore, she was proactive about providing good ideas and recommendations about our firm’s brand and how we should present ourselves to the business world. The result was a website that allowed us to differentiate our firm from other business advisors.
