From Insight to Impact: Bringing Third Angle’s Thought Leadership to Life

It all begins with an idea.

The Client

Third Angle, Inc. is a Chicago-based consulting firm led by Dr. Jean Egmon, a nationally recognized expert in systems thinking, leadership, and innovation.

For more than twenty years, Third Angle has helped leaders and organizations see their world from new perspectives: identifying the hidden patterns and leverage points that drive meaningful change.

As Jean prepared to release her new book, The Power of Hidden Treasures, she wanted to make sure her ideas reached the right audiences and that Third Angle’s voice reflected the insight and warmth behind the work.

The Challenge

Like many small, high-touch firms, Third Angle faced a big question: how to grow visibility and reach without losing authenticity.

Jean wanted to share her ideas and the upcoming book more widely but found that managing strategy, social media, and marketing on top of leading a company was a lot to juggle.

Undertaking that yourself as a small firm can be overwhelming. We needed help not just with reach and growth, but with strategic reach and growth — who to reach, how to reach them, and where.
— Jean Egmon

The Solution

Together, we developed a personal brand and content strategy that would bring Jean’s thought leadership to life while making the process simple and sustainable for her.

We supported Third Angle by:

  • Building a clear personal branding framework for Jean and her upcoming book

  • Managing consistent, engaging posts on LinkedIn

  • Providing book marketing and launch support

Offering ongoing strategy sessions to keep content aligned with business and leadership goals

ShineThru really took the load off. They handled everything with such professionalism — and the results showed on LinkedIn, with people coming to the site, to me, and to the company.
— Jean Egmon

The Outcome

The results were clear: stronger visibility, deeper engagement, and a growing community that connects with Jean’s thought leadership.

In August 2025, Third Angle saw a 21.5% increase in LinkedIn impressions and double the engagement compared to the previous month. Clicks and reactions also jumped significantly, showing that more people were not only seeing the content — they were responding to it.

People see things more regularly and respond. I love that people have something concrete to react to. It feels like we’re building a community of shared thought — and Shine Thru is right in the middle of it making it happen.
— Jean Egmon

On Jean’s personal LinkedIn profile, her presence continued to grow alongside the company’s. Her posts saw a 28.6% increase in impressions and reached 7.6% more members than the previous period. Engagement on her page doubled, especially on posts that shared her reflections, quotes, and behind-the-scenes insights about leadership and innovation.

They live up to their name, Shine Thru. They make individuals like myself, our team, and our work shine through. They help us see the best and show the best, and they do it with sincerity and encouragement. They’ve truly become trusted advisors, and it’s been such a joy to work with them.
— Jean Egmon

Third Angle now has a consistent, engaging presence online that reflects its purpose and personality. The community continues to grow as the team heads toward the launch of The Power of Hidden Treasures, with Shine Thru right beside them every step of the way.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
